BUILDING ADDRESS NUMBERS & LETTERS

Commercial Buildings within city limits are required to comply with the Premise Identification Ordinance Posting Requirements  

 We are here to help, we have in stock numbers and letters that comply with the minimum dimensions required by the city of El Paso. The address Id code states the numbers and letters shall be no less than 8-inches high and with a minimum of ½ -inch stroke width visible from either direction of travel. 

 Valuable time may be lost trying to locate your home or business. For your safety,it is important to have visible Address Id so emergency responders can locate your property in the event of a fire, medical, or other emergency. 

Building numbering shall be displayed in characters having a minimum height conforming to the following table according to the El Paso Code of Ordinances section 2015.2.3

Calculations based on an externally (or naturally) lit sign with all uppercase Helvetica letters utilizing optimal negative space. Factors that may affect required letter size are: color scheme, font selection, traffic and weather conditions, or sign standoff. Please refer to the complete study for additional information.
